Cubby’s was among seven businesses in Minnehaha County to fail a liquor compliance check last week.
61 stores passed the stings on Wednesday, June 26, according to the sheriff’s office.
The 68 checked included businesses with either liquor or malt beverage licenses.
The compliance check didn’t include Sioux Falls.
Other businesses that failed include Blinkey’s Casino, Expressway, Golden Palms Casino and Shop N Cart, all in Brandon; Pump N Stuff in Crooks; and the Renner Corner in Renner, according to a sheriff’s office news release.
The checks are done periodically throughout the county in an effort to reduce the incidents of underage purchase of alcoholic beverages, according to the sheriff’s office.
