Taxes - nobody likes paying them. But filing can be much more pleasant with a good accountant. That’s how Ben Temple sees it, Dell Rapids’ newest tax associate.
Temple recently joined KMWF and Associates in downtown Dell Rapids, just in time for the tax season.
Temple, a CPA, works in all areas of taxation with concentraion on farm taxation and audits on insurance, construction, governmental and non-profit entities.
“I like the variety that comes with the position,” Temple said. “The client work is rewarding, building one-on-one relationships with them.”
Temple came to KMWF from Eide Bailly in Sioux Falls where he focused on audits, reviews, compilations and SOC 1s.
“He’s pretty sharp,” said CPA Clair Wuebben, who played a primary role in bringing Temple to Dell Rapids. “He’s personable, and he can relate to people real well.”
Temple will take over Wuebben’s accounts when the lifelong accountant reitres later this year.
A 2008 graduate of the University of South Dakota, Temple and his wife Stacey have two children. “Dells is a great community, and everyone seems to be pretty openhearted to newcomers,” Temple said.
