Alcester-Hudson’s Friday visit to Baltic was one the Cubs would rather forget. The Bulldog destroyed the Cubs 65-31.

The contest was close early on and the Bulldogs clung to a 14-10 lead after the first quarter. But in the second quarter, with a few of Edward Clark’s 22 falling, Baltic outscrored Alcester-Hudson 14-3. The Bulldogs never looked back and coasted to the 34 point victory.
Clark also grabbed eight rebounds for the Bulldogs while teammate Josiah Aberson added 13 points and nine rebounds. Tom Sittig had five assists for Baltic.

Earlier in the week, the Bulldogs were in Howard where they faced a tough Tiger team. A see-saw battle through the end, Baltic came out with a 48-45 triumph Tuesday night on the road.

A resilient effort in the second half, Baltic faced a 35-30 deficit heading into the final frame, but managed to outscore the Tigers 18-10 in the fourth quarter to earn the win.

Again, it was Clark who set the pace for the Bulldogs with 16 points.
