In Colman Friday night, the Cardinals had their hands full with a potent C-E Hawk offense.
The Cardinals hung around in the first half – they trailed by nine at half – but an offensive explosion by Colman-Egan in the second half sealed a 78-44 win for the C-E Hawks.
For Colman-Egan, four players scored in double digits including Riley Clark with 22 point, Matt Nelson 20 and Trenton Hemmer with 19.
“The boys are working hard, and we need to continue to improve each day,” said Blake Miller, Cardinals head coach.
For St. Mary’s, Jared Scholten scored 10 points and grabbed four rebounds. Also contributing for the Cardinals were Nate Klein, who scored nine points and 3 rebounds, and Ethan Schmidt with seven points.
