Dells breaks records at O'Gorman meet

Quarrier powerlifters broke several meet records at the O’Gorman Invitational Saturday, Jan. 26.
Placing third as a team with 25 points, three Quarriers earned champion honors.
On his way to a first place finish, 114 pounder Matt DeNoon set a meet record with a 295 pound squat. A 335 dead lift help him earn a total score of 795 pounds, also a meet record.
Matt’s twin brother, 123 pounder Jonathan DeNoon, finished first with a meet record, 305-pound squat. His total score – 815 – was also a meet record.
At 198 pounds, Connor Vandine set an O’Gorman Invitation record with a 550-pound dead lift.
With a first place finish in the heavy weight class, Peter Nebbin’s 555-pound dead lift was also a meet record. Nebben’s total score – 1365 – was a meet record.
220 pounder Ty Hennen and 242 pounder Griffin Ellison both earned fourth place finishes.
