Board approves truck purchase for winter
The school board’s most recent meeting last week brought up discussion on the purchase of a used truck for snow removal this winter.
The truck had endured some damaged from collision with a deer, but the 2002 Ford was discounted to allow repair costs, as reported by transportation/facilities supervisor Todd Wiebenga.
The board voted to approve the payment of $7,300 to seller Robert Heim, with a plow attachment purchase to be discussed at a future meeting.
