St. Mary cheer, State B champs

St. Mary competitive cheer brought home the Class B Champion title last weekend, their third state title in a row. The competition was held in Watertown Saturday and Sunday.
St. Mary competed in the small squad stunting and tumbling division and received first place in their division. Lake Preston was second.
“We then won the Overall Class B Grand Champion, top out of all 4 division, with a total of 225.5 points,” coach Cami Bacon said.

St. Mary, 225.5; Warner, 204.5; Lake Preston, 203.5; Faulton, 187.0; South Central, 169.0; Northwestern, 160.5; Lyman, 148.5.
Dell Rapids Public earned second place in the State A cheer competition.
