**Yankton Invite**
The Dell Rapids cheer teams traveled to Yankton Sept. 8 for the school’s invitational. The teams finished tightly with one another, with the Quarriers totaling 192.5 for a final score and the Cardinals finishing up with 190.5.

Sioux Falls O’Gorman came out on top of the multi-class field, with 229 points, while Brookings took second (219.5).

Each team topped their competition within the Class A and B divisions.

**O’Gorman Invite**
The Sioux Falls O’Gorman campus played host to the latest cheer and dance invitational in the area, with Dell Rapids Public in attendance for the competition.

The home squad took the top score, 163.5, with Watertown (148.5) and Sioux Falls Washington (146.5) pulling in second and third place.

Dell Rapids brought in a 120-point final score, placing the girls in eighth out of the 14 teams competing. Also in the running from the Class A division teams were Dakota Valley (107) and Sioux Valley (139.5).
